The heads of schools have been called on to take extra precaution with the students and school facilities during continuous raining in the western division.

Education Minister Filipe Bole said recent drowning incidents have brought to the fore the need for parents and guardians to closely monitor the movement of their children.

He said children do make decisions however the decisions may not be good for them all the time thus adult supervision is necessary.

According to Bole, the good weather may have come as a relief to many from yesterday however there is still a need to remain cautious with wet conditions which is experienced every now and then.
