Schools should start looking at alternative water supply so that children are not sent home.

This is the stand of the Public Works Department which said schools should start storing up water now to avoid sending children in cases of water cuts.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Divisional Water Engineer Sereicokocoko Yanuyanurua said he maintained that students should not be sent home although water cuts are resulting in no water for the students while they are in school and also real problems which are hard to deal with like blocked toilets.
