Twelve schools will join voices this month as part of the Suva Secondary Schools Music Festival.

The event organized by Pasifika Voices will see a total of four hundred students taking part.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Pasifika Voices spokesperson Peter Waqavonovono said the event has been rejuvenated and was brought back to recognise school children's talents.

Last year, Laughing Samoans' Aunty Tala came to Fiji to lend his support behind the event and the organizers said this year they will bring in Pacific entertainers as well.

The organizers decided to base this year's celebrations on the inaugural presidential speech of former South African President Nelson Mandela where he said ".... Our deepest Fear is that we are powerful beyond measure...” The Suva Secondary Schools music Festival will be held from 22nd-24th July.
