School heads are now being asked not to charge any levies at all to those school children affected by the floods.

Interim Minister for Education, Filipe Bole said that apart from the tuition fees which are being footed by Government, extra fees are being charged for projects the schools undertake.

After complaints from a few parents from affected areas, Bole said that schools should not demand from the children or the families.

In totality, $699 thousand 129 dollars have been handed out to 84 primary and secondary schools with the $3million set aside for flood rehabilitation.
