The organising committee for the Nasinu Muslim Primary school golden jubilee celebrations is hopeful of collecting close to $25,000 which will be used to upgrade the facilities for the students.
Committee Chairman, Mansoor Ahmed has urged members of the public to join them in raising funds for school students as the school needs some urgent maintenance to its infrastructure, and they also are intending to help those students facing problems in paying school fees and bringing lunch to school.
The celebrations started on Thursday and will finish tonight at the Nasinu Primary school grounds.
