Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby giants Suva Grammar School and Marist Bothers High School will not feature in the Coca-Cola Zero Deans quarterfinals in the Under 18 grade.
This is after both sides lost their quarterfinal matches yesterday in the Southern Zone competition.
Grammar lost to Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 16-12 while Assemblies of God High School defeated Marist 21-13.
In the other quarterfinals, John Wesley College thrashed Nabua Secondary School 32-0 and defending champions Nasinu thumped Laucala Bay Secondary School 50-6.
This means that AOG will meet John Wesley and Nasinu will face RSMS in the zone semifinals which will be held next Saturday at the Suva Grammar School grounds.
Meanwhile, the top two schools from Nadi and Lautoka are expected to be finalized this week from each grade to decide who will represent the Western Zone Two in the Coca-Cola Zero Deans quarterfinals.
