The Ministry of Education has replaced the principal of a prominent school in Nasinu after classes were not being conducted in this school on Mondays and Fridays.
Concerns had been raised by parents from this prominent school that classes were not being conducted on Mondays because their children had to wait for student borders to return from their homes.
These parents also say that classes would not take place on Fridays to allow student borders to return home for the weekend.
Minister for Education, Doctor Mahendra Reddy says they now have a Roving Principal that will be based at the school to assist in addressing issues as such and improve the overall operation of the school.
Reddy says they will not tolerate incompetent school administrators.
