A secondary school in Suva is carrying out its own investigations to establish whether the claim made by four form three students that they drank a bottle of pineapple juice mixed with kerosene is true or not.

The school Principal said they will hand their investigation report to police once it’s completed.

Meanwhile, police said they will not reveal whether the juice that the four students drank was homemade or factory packed.

Assistant Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said they will comment on the issue once the investigation is completed.

The four students who shared the bottle of juice were taken to the CWM hospital after they complained of stomach pains. They further allege that the juice was mixed with kerosene.
