A non-denomination and a non-profitable school based at Flagstaff held a Diwali Gala for its students and their families last night which saw families coming together to celebrate the festival of lights.
Learning Centre Primary School principal and chief executive Ronald Kumar said they have students from different parts of the world and last night was a first ever Diwali celebration held at the school which was established in 1995.
Kumar said they held the event to promote multiculturalism in the school.
The students also enjoyed the fireworks display at the school.
