Youths outside of school are the most at risk to HIV and Sexually transmitted diseases in the youth population.
This is according to the Health Ministry's Adolescent Health and Development Project Officer Sister Sulueti Duvaga, speaking on the recent HIV cases in the country.
Latest statistics revealed an increase with twenty one new HIV cases in the country for the month of June.
Duvaga said that based on recent evaluations done by the ministry, they have found that school dropouts tend to engage in sexual activities and drugs due to their unproductive lifestyle.
Duvaga added that the department has been receiving responses from various organizations in addressing the issue.
