A secondary school dropout whose future was not looking that bright was today awarded with a Gold medal at the Fiji National University graduation ceremony.
Josheph Rao of Taveuni who graduated with a Diploma in Hotel Management at the Vodafone Arena dedicated his achievement to his hard work and passion to succeed in life.
Rao said secondary school students should not lose focus when they fail their exams as there is always a second chance for everyone.
Close to a thousand students graduated from the Fiji National University in various disciplines.
