There has been a change in the new term dates for the 2009 school year.
The Interim Education Minister Filipe Bole said term one will now end on 1st May instead of 24th April. He said term two will begin on 18th May to 21st August, while term three begins on 7th September and ends on 4th December instead of 27th November as earlier stated.
Bole said while the dates have changed due to the recent floods, the number of weeks of school has remained the same with a total of 41 weeks. He said all the schools around Fiji have been provided with the new dates.
