One issue that will be looked in to by the Rewa Provincial Scholarship Committee is to give equal sharing of scholarships among the young children of Rewa.
Assistant Chairman of the Rewa Provincial Council Pita Tagicakiverata, said the Rewa High Chief Ro Temumu Kepa while officially opening the Rewa Provincial Council meeting yesterday praised the setting up of the Scholarship fund which started in 2007 until now, which has enabled many students to pursue further studies.
However he added that Ro Temumu has asked to see that girls within the province should at least be awarded 50 percent of the total scholarship.
The Rewa Provincial Meeting at Suvavou village continues today.
