The Savusavu soccer team will oppose the idea of having eight teams in next season’s National Soccer League competition.

This issue will take center stage at the Fiji Football Association’s annual congress next Tuesday.

The Fiji FA and the sponsors of the league have stressed they want a more competitive league from next season and the eight team proposal is a wise one.

Meanwhile, the Courts IDC kicks off next Wednesday at Govind Park and Labasa will play Navua at 3.30pm in the first match.
