"We are not in Suva for a holiday but to compete and win a place in the Tier 1 competition next year for the Northern division".
Those were the words of Savusavu Secondary School U-18 coach, Aisake Volatui as they step up their preparation for the Tier 2 final against Tavua College this Saturday.
At training throughout this week he has told his players, with most of them coming to the capital city for the first time, that they must step up to their greatest test of strength and courage and return home with the Tier 2 U-18 title.
The other 2 Vanualevu based secondary schools in the Tier 2 finals are All Saints in the U-19 grade and Napuka Secondary in the U-17 grade.
The Tier 2 final from the U-14 grades will start on Saturday at 9am at the tfl stadium.
The Tier 1 final will be held next Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
