Fiji 7's coach Joe Savou will go for experience when he names his final 12-man squad for the Wellington 7's tournament next month.

Fiji last won the Wellington title in 2005/2006 season when they defeated South Africa but last season they lost the final to Samoa 17-14.

Savou said they have already lost two titles in the 2007 / 2008 series although they featured in both finals but things should be back on track from next month.

He said players such as Etonia Naba, Setefano Cakau, Neumi Nanuku, Rupeni Nasiga, Emosi Vucago, Isei Lewaqai and Vereniki Goneva are the front-runners to feature in Wellington 7's.

Meanwhile, New Zealand 7's coach, Gordon Tietjens said Savou should give more time to players that featured in the Dubai and George leg of the IRB 7's series.
