Digicel Fiji 7s coach Josateki Savou handed in his final report on the last IRB 7s series in London and Scotland to the Fiji Rugby Union Games Committee yesterday.

In his report Savou highlighted a few issues which he believes should be addressed by the Games committee before they name the coach for the Fiji 7's team to defend the Melrose Cup next year.

Under his leadership, Fiji was in 4th place after the series with the side playing in 3 finals, 2 semifinals and 3 quarterfinal losses.

The FRU Games Committee is yet to decide when they will advertise the 7s coach and manager's job for the Melrose Cup defence and the 2008/2009 IRB 7's series.

It is understood that the likes of Ilivasi Tabua, Glen Ella, Naca Cawanibuka and Semi Rogoyawa will be part of the Fiji 7's team to Dubai in March to try and retain the Melrose Cup.
