The Hurricanes have won the race for All Black wing Julian Savea's signature.
The 15 Test All Black had been thought to be heading for either the Chiefs or the Crusaders, continuing the All Black exodus from Mark Hammett's team.
But Savea confirmed the move, tweeting: “Happy to say I have re-signed with the Hurricanes and NZRU.
Meanwhile, the All Blacks will play Argentina at 10.40am next Sunday while the Springboks will take on the Wallabies at 3am in the Rugby Championship.
