Julian Savea has done his time.

Dropped, sent to boot camp, rotated, freshened up, call it what you will, the star Hurricanes wing’s spell on the sideline is over.

Coach Chris Boyd has confirmed that Savea had been a good boy and done all his homework during the team’s bye week and was about to be rewarded with selection in the side to the play the Jaguares at Westpac Stadium on Saturday night.

Savea was sensationally left out of the Hurricanes team to play the Kings, with Boyd preferring to give Jason Woodward and Matt Proctor “opportunities”.

The Hurricanes play the Jaguares at 7.35pm Saturday.

The Chiefs play the Blues at 7.35pm Friday.
