Save the Children Organisation which assists millions of children annually around the world is observing its 90th Anniversary today.
Fiji is one on the 27 nations who are a full member and Save the Children Fiji Chief Executive Chandra Shekhar said they are fully committed to assisting the children facing financial difficulties.
He adds that they had a very large support from community through which they were able to assist 9933 students who were affected by flood this year.
Save the Children was founded in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb in England to initially assist children affected by the war in Vienna and to mark this day Save the Children Fiji organized a morning tea.
