Save the Children is currently conducting its assessment in the Northern and Eastern division on how children have been affected after the devastation caused by Cyclone Tomas.
Chief Executive Officer, Chandar Shekhar said a team is currently in Cakaudrove and he has sent another team out today and awaits an assessment report.
Shekhar said at the moment they are unable to contact his team in the northern division.
Meanwhile, Shekhar said that child protection in evacuation centres is also a key concern for them, and he is urging the relevant authorities and parents to ensure that children are safe from harm and abuse while in the centres.
