Save the Children Fiji teams are already on the ground conducting surveys to determine the number of students affected.
Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekhar told Fijivillage their priority is to meet the children’s educational needs adding that with schools opening next week it would put an extra burden on parents.
Shekhar also said that they are liaising with their international partners for funds and they will establish by this afternoon on how much fund they are going to get to assist these students however he adds that they are looking at a significant amount.
