As well as trying to create awareness on the need to conserve our turtles, students of Nakelo District School have also learned new things while in the process of preparing for Tadra Kahani "The Dream Story Stage Show".

Speaking to Fijivillage, Liasion Officer Sokomere Halofaki said the whole school is involved in different areas for the event.

That's the theme newcomers Nakelo District School will be bringing with them to Tadra Kahani "The Dream Story Stage Show".

Speaking to Fijivillage, Liaison Officer Sokomere Halofaki said the theme came about because most of the students are concerned.

Halofaki added being newcomers has not put any pressure on her students from taking part because all they want to do is send out the message that something must be done to save our turtles.

Nineteen schools from around Fiji are gearing up to take their messages on stage when Tadra Kahani kicks off on the 13th of August with the finals of the Primary and Senior Divisions taking place on the 15th.

In the Primary Division, Draiba Fijian, Veiuto Primary, Nadi Christian Academy, Nabitu District School, Nadi Centre for Special Education, Tacirua Primary, Vuanicau Primary, International Primary and Nakelo District Scholl are taking part.

In the Senior Division, Monfort Boys Town, International School Suva, RKS, Suva Grammar, Tavua District, Gau Secondary, Coral Island Academy, Lomawai Secondary School, Cuvu College will battle for top honors.
