Santa Claus is now in town and there are definitely a few around in the capital city.
We spoke to one of them and he said that it is always an unforgettable moment when he sees the smiles on children's faces when they see Santa.
Alipate Vokai said it is a wonderful task of bringing the joy of Christmas to hundreds of people on a daily basis by donning the Santa suit at one of the major shopping outlets in Suva.
But Vokai said most children are scared at first when they see him.
He added that another major challenge for him is enduring the Suva heat in the Santa suit.
Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas is the legendary and mythical figure who in many Western cultures brings gifts to young children on Christmas Day.
