The sanctions still remain!
This is a confirmation from New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key, who said his Government will not be pressured by the IRB to let certain Fijian rugby players into the country for the Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile, FRU Board Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said that they are still awaiting the reply to the letter they sent to IRB.
The Rugby World Cup kicks off in New Zealand on September 9th and the first Flying Fijians trials will be held on June 4th in Suva.
The New Zealand Government is expected to comment later.
