Head of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) Technical and Support Secretariat John Samy has welcomed the concerns raised by Fiji Labour Party Leader (FLP) Mahendra Chaudhry over the way the Council teams are distributing the draft Charter booklets and response forms.
Mahendra Chaudhry who had been holding FLP's consultations in the rural areas of the Western and Northern divisions said the NCBBF teams are not explaining anything to the people when they hand them the draft People's Charter.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Samy said the concerns will be taken on board and any irregularities will be addressed.
However, he stressed that the people are being given copies of the draft Charter to allow them time to read it for themselves before the teams return to gather their views on the draft document.
