Organisers of the Uprising Fiji International 7s will know today whether the Samoan Rugby Association will be fielding a team in the inaugural event.

Organising Committee's Randal Kamea said that they have been in talks with the Association and since they are having their AGM today, a decision is expected to be made.

Kamea also revealed that they are having talks with the other Pacific island countries like Tonga and New Caledonia as these team have shown interest in coming to the 7s Tournament however expenses are in question.

He added that they are also having talks with Air Pacific to be able to subsidies their air fares.

Apart from the Pacific Island countries, teams like France B team, a team from the US along with three teams from New Zealand will be at the Tournament.

The Tournament will be held on the 21st and the 22nd of next month at the Vodafone Arena.
