It is good news so far for the Toa Samoa side in the Rugby League World Cup as Prop Sauaso Sue won his appeal after the International Appeals Tribunal ruled that he did not make contact with the French player’s leg.

The decision means that Sue is available for selection by Samoa for their quarterfinal against the Vodafone Fiji Bati on Monday.

The other suspended player Leeson Ah Mau failed in his appeal against the one-match suspension and will still miss the quarterfinal.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will take on Samoa at 4am Monday.
