Samoa has been given the favourite tag to win the Australia sevens this Sunday.
After winning the USA sevens and losing to Fiji in the final in New Zealand, the Lolo Lui captained side will start as favourite ahead of New Zealand and Fiji.
The side which lies on second spot in the IRB sevens series have a chance to take the lead if they do well in Australia and Hong Kong.
New Zealand are still ranked number 1 in Adelaide and with the same side that lost to Samoa in the final in USA, they have a lot to prove this weekend as they try to edge closer to winning the IRB sevens series title.
Meanwhile Fiji coach Iliesa Tanivula has called on rugby fans to remember his boys in their prayers and support them as they try to win in Adelaide.
Fiji's opening pool game tonight is against Wales at 9.14pm.
