Samoa playmaker Tusi Pisi proved to be the difference as they beat the Vodafone Fying Fijians 18-13 in their Pacific Nations Cup clash this afternoon.

Pisi kicked six penalties as Samoa dominated the game with their heavy forward pack led by towering lock forward Daniel Leo.

Fiji scored two tries through Napolioni Nalaga and Nemani Nadolo.

The high penalty count was again a major concern for Fiji as it cost them a match against a tough Samoan outfit.

Samoa led in the first half 15-5.
