IRB 7's series champion Samoa are aware of their poor past results in the South Africa 7's against the Digicel Fiji 7's, where they have failed to register a win in their last 5 clashes since 2006.
Coach Stephen Betham said last week's win in the Dubai semifinal against Fiji does not mean that they will end their losing streak in George when they meet in the Pool B decider on Saturday morning.
Betham added that just like in Dubai, this game in South Africa will bring the best out of the two teams.
For the Fiji team, after playing Kenya in a warm up game where they tried to iron out their weaknesses from last weekend, coach Iliesa Tanivula expects an improvement.
Fiji is in Pool B with Samoa, USA and Namibia and they will open their 2010 South Africa 7's campaign against Namibia on Friday night at 11.43pm.
