The Samoan 7s rugby team will be back at full strength for this weekend's USA 7s tournament in San Diego.

The side missed most of their key players at the New Zealand International 7s tournament as they failed to qualify for the Cup quarterfinals from their pool.

Coach Rudolph Moors has recalled captain Uale Mai, Lolo Lui and Jerry Meafou to the squad for the USA 7s.

The trio's inclusion comes as a result of injuries to Reupena Levasa, Mikaele Pesamino and Tom Iosefo.

Moors said the team has done its post match debrief and will take on board the lessons learnt in Wellington where even they lost to France and Niue, in order to perform at San Diego.

The USA 7s tournament will be held on Sunday and Monday.
