Fiji born, Radike Samo is in the reserve bench for the Wallabies against the Springboks in Sunday morning's Tri Nation Test match.

Samo has been drafted in by coach, Robbie Deans to add some more pace and power to his forwards.

Dynamic back rower Scott Higginbotham has been rewarded for a starting role for.

Higginbotham will line up at number 8, relegating Ben McCalman to the bench in Durban, while veteran lock Nathan Sharpe has been recalled to the second row for what will be his 96th Test.

Deans has also included the versatile Samo after opting for a five-two split of forwards and backs reserves.

The Springboks host the Wallabies at 3am on Sunday.
