The President of the Fiji Law Society Dorsami Naidu has been served with court papers demanding payment of court costs.

The court costs in the amount of $12,100 with interest and enforcement costs were granted to the State as a result of Naidu's failed application when was representing Angie Heffernan in her case in 2007 and last year.

The Solicitor General Christopher Pryde said a writ has been served to Naidu telling him to make the payment by last Friday, however the payment has not been made.

Pryde said they will leave no stone unturned to recover the court costs owed by Naidu as court orders need to be respected and the President of Fiji Law Society is no exception.

Meanwhile, Dorsami Naidu said he is not willing to pay.
