The investigations against the former Chief Executive Officer, Jagannath Sami have been completed by the auditors of Sugar Cane Growers Council.

Council Chairman Jain Kumar said they have received the report which will be put forward in the Council Board meeting next month to decide on the next course of action.

He said the investigation was called after they found discrepancies in the Council's funds when Sami was the CEO.

Sami was removed from his position by the Commodore Frank Bainimarama soon after the coup in 2006.
