The Fiji Secondary School Rugby Association will still use the same rule used in past year's to determine the winner of the quarter final and semifinal if the game ends in a draw.
President, Paula Motu said changes can only be made to the rules in the annual general meeting.
Motu added under the current rule there will be sudden death if a game ends in a draw.
Motu said that if the game remains in a draw after sudden death then they will look at the number of tries and who scored first to determine the winner.
The Coca Cola Deans quarter final starts on Saturday at 8.20am at the TFL Stadium.
The U-19 grades kicks-off at 12.20pm, Nasinu takes on Sila Central, RKS face John Wesley at 1.40pm, at 3pm Ratu Navula plays Suva Grammar and in the feature match at 4.20pm defending champion Lelean is up against Lomawai.
