Same ministers appointed
They took their oaths in a swearing-in ceremony before President Ratu Josefa Iloilo at Government House.
They are Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, Ratu Epeli Ganilau, Netani Sukanaivalu, Joketani Cokanasiga, Jiko Luveni, Filipe Bole, Colonel Timoci Lesi Natuva and Doctor Neil Sharma.
Earlier today, President Ratu Josefa Iloilo appointed Army Commander Commodore Frank Bainimarama as Prime Minister of his interim government.
Commander Bainimarama took his oath before Ratu Josefa Iloilo at Government House just after 10:15am today.
The revocation of the appointments of the judges, magistrates and judicial officers are also effective.
Announcements will be made shortly about further appointments and decrees under the new Legal Order that the President is ruling under.
It has also been confirmed that Commodore Bainimarama will deliver a national address at 6:30 tonight.
