Samabula Police are investigating a case of alleged rape whereby the victim is an 11-year-old girl.
Police say the alleged incident happened on the 7th of this month at the 27-year-old suspect’s home.
They say the suspect who is the victim's neighbour and a relative had allegedly asked the victim to massage his stomach when he allegedly committed the offense several times.
The victim relayed the incident to her mother the next day whereby a report was lodged at the Samabula Police Station.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
