The Samabula Football Club faces a major setback ahead of the National Club championship as key players Joseph Mishra and Dinesh Mudalier are still carrying injuries.
Despite losing to Wailoku 3-2 in yesterday's weekly competition final, President Rajesh Prakash said they are optimistic of a good outcome in the Championship.
Laced with the services of district reps Joshua Wilson, Issa Sani, Joseph Mishra, Leone Damudamu and Cedric Dutt, Samabula looks good to qualify for the National Club Championship.
Samabula is in pool 2 with Koroqaqa Sports Club from Tailevu Naitasiri, Friends United FC from Nasinu and Barbarians FC from Navua.
