A 31 year old salesman is admitted at the Wainibokasi Hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a robbery at Naduru Road in Nausori earlier this week.
The salesman was on his way to Nausori to sell recharge cards, when at the BP Service Station in Nausori, two men contacted him to sell them the cards. The duo then boarded the victim's car and told him to pick the money from Naduru Road. Upon reaching an isolated place they threatened the victim with a penknife and warned him to stop. The victim continued driving when one of the suspects stabbed him on the chest.
The suspects grabbed the cash, cheques and the recharge cards before fleeing from the scene.
