Tavua soccer team striker Jone Salauneune has been given the green-light by the Fiji Football Association to feature for Ba this season.

Fiji FA’s President Rajesh Patel confirmed Salauneune will play on loan for Ba till the O-League.

The Fiji FA Board meeting finished late last night where Fiji FA had to overturn its earlier decision where the Salauneune’s application to play for Ba was rejected as he had not followed the procedure for his release application.

Meanwhile, Nadroga and Tailevu Naitasiri soccer teams will play a re-match in the Promotion relegation series.

Tailevu Naitasiri had lodged a protest against Nadroga after the two leg series last month but the Fiji FA officials have decided that a re-match is the best way to decide which team will play in the Super Premier Division this year.

The first match will be played this Wednesday at Ratu Cakobau Park while the second leg will be played at Lawaqa Park on Sunday.
