The Criminal Investigations Department is still consulting with the military in relation to the Sakiusa Rabaka and Nimilote Verebasaga investigations.
Director CID, Waisea Vakamocea said that the Sakiusa Rabaka file which was earlier given to police for further investigations has been given back to the DPP's office.
For Verebasaga's case, the DPP's office has already stated that the suspect implicated in the death be charged with murder, however the CID is still consulting with the military headquarters on when the solider will be released.
The Director CID, Waisea Vakamocea has also confirmed that the lone suspect in the Verebasaga case is a solider.
Military spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga is expected to comment later today.
