Sailosi on track to defend Coke Games title
The ACS student won with a manual time of 25.46s shattering the old record of 25.76s.
Sailosi also won the 100m with a manual time of 12.65s.
Sailosi said she will try and improve her time and beat Sisilia Sevula.
ACS star athlete Miriama Senokonoko also broke the 2 year old triple jump senior girl’s record with a new jump of 9.91m.
The old record was 9.63m.
Senokonoko also looks good to defend her Coke Games title in the 400 metres, after winning with a manual time of 1 minute 3 seconds today.
She said that she will train harder to defend her title and also beat her personal best time of 57s.
ACS now leads with 6 gold and 3 silver, second is Wainimala Secondary School with 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze while Naitasiri Secondary School is in third place with 1 gold.
Meanwhile, last year’s Coke Games blue ribbon silver medalist Waisake Raselala took out the 100m and 200m boy’s titles today.
Raselala, who is still in Sila Central, won the 100m with a manual time of 11.08s and the 200m with a time of 23.07s.
Rewa Secondary School still leads with 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze, second is Sila Central School with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze and third is Baulevu High School with 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.
