Disbarred lawyer Doctor Muhammed Shamsud-Dean Sahu Khan faces another 11 counts of charges before the Independent Legal Services Commission this week.
Doctor Sahu Khan personally faces nine counts of professional misconduct, he and his law firm face one count of professional misconduct and one count of unsatisfactory conduct.
The matter has been taken to the Commission by the Chief Registrar’s Office and the hearing for the matter is set from this Thursday to next Friday.
Fijivillage has received confirmation that the matter is still listed for the date.
Doctor Sahu Khan is currently overseas and could not be contacted.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said no comments can be made on the pending matter against Doctor Sahu Khan as it is an issue that the Independent Legal Services Commission has to address.
