Former Deputy Police Commissioner Sada Nand has refuted claims that he has been suspended from the force by the Deputy Police Commissioner Eroni Antonio.
Speaking to Village News from his home in Nakasi, Nand said he has applied for leave owed to him and the leave was granted and will resume work soon.
Meanwhile, another senior police officer Ravi Narayan who holds the position of Director Economic Crime said that he was issued the letter and was told to hand over his position to another senior police officer.
Village News has been reliably informed that SSP Jese Marovia, ACP Sada Nand, ACP Isikeli Vuniwaqa and other senior officers have been asked to vacate their positions.
Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni is yet to comment on the matter.
