With hundreds of Muslim families celebrating Eid around the country today, it is a sad day for a family in Tokotoko, Navua whose loved one has been missing at sea for three weeks now.
Mother of 29-year-old Abida Nisha said they have not lost hope and are still waiting for his return as they have not found any of his belongings.
She said she is missing her son and will not be celebrating Eid.
Nisha said her family members are still assisting in the search and she has called on people living along the coastal areas to keep an eye on her son.
The 29-year-old had accompanied his two friends on a fishing trip last month when their boat capsized near Toguru Beacon in Navua.
