Everything is going to be OK if Fiji sacrifices enough and gets done what needs to be done.
That is the advice from interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama after the ultimatum given by the Pacific Island Leaders forum and the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group on an election date and elections itself to be held before the year's end.
Bainimarama was responding to question posed to him on whether Fiji should expect isolation from other countries if there is no return to democracy.
Meanwhile, as the SDL and the NFP await word following Bainimarama's threats to exclude them from Friday's meeting, Qarase said an open mind is needed if the meeting is to achieve its desired outcomes.
Following the support shown by the SDL and the NFP on the CMAG Statement and the findings of the International Bar Association, Bainimarama said a decision on NFP's Pramod Rae and Qarase participation will be made before the Political Dialogue Forum this Friday.
