The Rewa soccer team created history by winning their first ever Vodafone Fiji FACT title yesterday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park after defeating Labasa 1-0 in the final.
The Fiji FACT has been one title that has evaded Rewa’s grasp since its inception in 1991.
Rewa President Pranil Singh said the players and their families sacrificed a lot to win the title.
The winning goal was scored by Solomon Islander James Naka in the second half.
