Sacked GCC Chairman Ratu Ovini Bokini said they will await the court ruling on their case against the interim government in relation to the termination of their GCC membership before deciding on whether to accept the invitation of Commodore Frank Bainimarama to attend the Bose ni Turaga meeting scheduled for the 9th and 10th of next month.

Ratu Ovini said the case is expected to be heard in court later this month.

Bau chief, Ratu Epenisa Cakobau said he has not received anything official from the interim government regarding the agenda of the meeting and he will decide on whether to attend after receiving the invitation for the Bose Ni Turaga.

Speaking on behalf of the Tui Cakau's Household, Ratu Jekesoni Yavalanavanua said the hurt is still there amongst the sacked members of the Great Council of Chiefs and the Interim Government should present a Matanigasau to the chiefs first to ask for their forgiveness, before inviting them back to the meeting table.
