The Interim Prime Minister has spoken to Police Commissioner Esala Teleni to identify the senior Indo-Fijian police officers who have complained to the media about the Police Crusade and sack them now.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said Commissioner Teleni has been told to take this action immediately as the actions of the officers is a clear case of insubordination.
Interim Defense Minister Ratu Epeli Ganilau is satisfied with Teleni's explanation on why he called a meeting of his senior Indo-Fijian officers to warn them that they would be sacked if they are disloyal.
Ratu Epeli said it is understandable that Teleni was carrying out a meeting to put things into perspective as he is focusing on discipline and teamwork in the Fiji Police Force.
Sack them now
